Today’s high will be -5 C with a wind chill of -7. Tonight’s low will be -10 C with wind chill closer to -17.
The snowfall will ease tomorrow morning but another 5-10 cm is predicted to fall.
So, yes, you’re definitely going to need the whole family ready with shovels and snowblowers.
Tuesday’s high is forecast to be -7 C but with wind gusting up to 40 km/h it will feel like -17.
Tuesday night will be -18 C with cloudy periods.
Wednesday will be bright and sunny and -5 C. Wednesday night will be another cold one at -17 C.
More snow is expected Thursday along with a high of -10 C. Snow continues into the evening and the low is expected to be -11 C.
And, yes, you guessed it – more snow on Friday along with a high of -2 C. The low will be near -11 C.
The good news? Right now, next weekend is looking fabulous with a high of -3 C for both Saturday and Sunday with a decent amount of sun expected too.
Those highs are closer to the seasonal average of -4 C but after the recent cold spell, it will almost feel like on of those “Caribbean vacations” people apparently used to take before pandemic times.
The sun was up at 7:04 a.m. today and will set at 5:29 p.m.
Happy Flag Day!
