A skier with a hip and leg injury got an unexpected ride on Tuesday when Ottawa paramedics used a utility terrain vehicle to ferry her to a waiting ambulance.
Paramedics say a woman in her 70s had been skiing on a local trail in the Leitrim area when she was injured. Ottawa firefighters helped to bring the woman from the ski trail to an ambulance.
