A 19-year-old Quebec man faces a string of firearms charges after a patrolling police officer pulled over a vehicle spotted traveling at low speed and hitting the centre curb in Vanier on Sunday afternoon.
The officer, a member of the neighbourhood resource team, saw the handle of a handgun sticking out of the driver’s bag and made an arrest without incident, the Ottawa Police Service said in a release Monday.
