On April 8 at 8 p.m., Ottawa writer and performer Diane Flacks will livestream her new script, Guilt, from her living room.
From April 14 to May 5, Ottawa author, songwriter, record and video producer Timothy Trieste will release Negotiations with Existence, a series of recorded hybrid performances that mix literature, video and music.
Playwright and performer Makambe K. Simbaba livestreams her work Our Fathers, Sons, Lovers and Little Brothers on April 15 at 8 p.m. The play, which addresses violence suffered by the Black community, won the 2019 Dora Award for Outstanding New Play for Theatre for Young Audiences.
Ottawa-based hip-hop ensemble BLAKDENIM will livestream a concert on April 24 at 7:30 p.m., and on the following afternoon at 2 p.m., the fourth FemmeVox concert, which showcases established and emerging Ottawa talent, will livestream.
The final performance of the series will be the April 28 evening livestream of Chase the Ace, a witty script by Stratford-based actor and playwright Mark Crawford.
